Are you thinking of renting a property?
We have an extensive list of properties available for viewing that caters for all needs and budgets. You get outstanding service, the widest possible choice and an expert letting service from experienced professionals.
All properties are GAS safety certified and inspected for suitability by us before you view.
All we require is:
- Deposit in advance of the first months rent. This will normally be between 4 to 6 weeks depending on individual landlord.
- A full Reference. You will need to pass the credit check, however, if you fail the landlord may ask for a guarantor who will be liable for any rental arrears.
- Rent to be paid by standing order or cash monthly.
- When vacating the property, tenants should ensure all bills are paid in full with evidence provided to verify.
We will ensure that
A full inventory is prepared at the start of tenancy and signed by Us, Tenant and Landlord.
Outstanding service is provided as standard whilst you are renting a property through Moving Homes.
Viewings
Viewings will be arranged at times to suit you, including evenings and weekends, and you will invariably be accompanied by a member of staff, who can give advice and answer any questions you may have.
Reserving the property
Once you have decided on a property, you will need to reserve it by paying a 'holding deposit', usually equivalent to one week's rent. Assuming that the tenancy goes ahead, this will be deducted from the monies due before you move in. If the landlord declines to grant the tenancy, it will be refunded.
However the deposit will be forfeit if you decide not to proceed for any reason, or if you fail to provide complete and accurate information in your application.
Contents Insurance
We can assist you with arranging contents insurance up to your selected sum insured for damage to your household furniture, equipment, furnishings, clothing and personal possessions whilst in your home (excludes business equipment).
